How to Change a Flat Tire

1. Stop in a safe place
   Pull over to a flat, safe area away from traffic. Turn on your hazard lights and apply the handbrake.
2. Prepare the tools
   Take out the spare tire, jack, and wrench from your car.
3. Loosen the wheel nuts
   Slightly loosen the nuts (do not remove them yet) while the car is still on the ground.
4. Jack up the car
   Place the jack under the correct jacking point and raise the car until the flat tire is off the ground.
5. Remove the flat tire
   Fully remove the nuts and take off the flat tire.
6. Install the spare tire
   Put the spare tire on the wheel hub and hand-tighten the nuts.
7. Lower the car
   Slowly lower the car back to the ground using the jack.
8. Tighten the nuts securely
   Tighten the nuts fully in a criss-cross pattern to ensure the wheel is secure.
9. Check tire pressure & drive carefully
   Make sure the spare tire has enough air and drive slowly to the nearest workshop.

Important Tips

• ⚠️ Do not change a tire on a slope or soft ground.
• ⚠️ Temporary spare tires are not for long-distance or high-speed driving.
• 🧤 Wear gloves if available to keep hands clean.
